Ancient Cedars Snowshoe Tour

Our professional guides will talk you through the history of the area and point out a variety of mammoth trees, some over 1000 years old. With frozen waterfalls, stunning vistas and a satisfying snack break along the way, this incredible trail has something for everyone.
3.5 hours (round-trip from Cougar base) with approximately 1.75 hours snowshoe time. Please drive yourself to Cougar Mountain Base Camp to check in for your Snowshoe tour.
PREPARE TO EXPLORE
Snowshoeing tours will run in all weather conditions.
Snowshoe rentals are included. We can also provide poles at no extra cost, if you choose.
We can provide winter boots if you do not have your own. Please let us know your size when booking.
There are no washrooms once your tour has started so please use the washroom before your arrive for check in.
Drugs and alcohol policy: Participants must not be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol when taking part in any tours at The Adventure Group. We reserve the right to remove any guest or group from a tour if we suspect them to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Injury and pregnancy: For your own safety, The Adventure Group strongly discourages our guests from participating in any of our activities when pregnant or with pre-existing back or neck injuries. In order to participate, we would require written consent from a physician with the understanding that all of our activities are outdoors.
This tour has a minimum age for children of 6 years. Private tours are recommended for younger snowshoers and their families.
Please drive yourself to Cougar Mountain Base Camp to check in for your Snowshoe tour.
Our Snowshoe tours will be departing from Cougar Mountain Base Camp this winter season instead of Whistler Village. We will not be doing check ins at our Village office anymore.
Online waivers: You will be emailed a link to complete your waivers online before your adventure. To ensure your adventure starts on time, we would ask that you complete the waiver prior to your arrival. The email will arrive from our digital waiver software called “Wherewolf Waivers”.
Tours run rain or shine and tours are non-refundable 24 hours before your departure time.
Do not come to our Cougar Mountain Base Camp for your adventure if you are displaying COVID-19 symptoms or if you have been in contact with someone who is unwell.
Prior to entering our Base Camp and participating in our activities you will have to complete a COVID-19 questionnaire.
Guests will be required to consent to a non-invasive temperature check.
Wearing a protective mask is required at times. Masks will be provided, or guests can bring their own.
