Join Pemberton’s registered herbalist, Evelyn Coggins, on an 1/2 day horseback tour of the Birkenhead Lake region. Ramble through forests, clearings and sub-alpine areas in search of plants that have been used throughout human history to treat disease and protect good health. Evelyn holds a masters degree from the University of New England in botanical medicine and is able to share a vast amount of knowledge on the therapeutic uses of local indigenous plants.

Join us for a Half Day ride with a Cowboy Supper in the afternoon and evening in the back country around Birkenhead Lake. Meet us at the ranch, located at 7830 Pemberton Meadows Road at 1pm ready to ride. We will transport you via truck to our trail head and from there via horse for a Half Day ride with a Cowboy Supper at our base camp. You will enjoy a Cowboy Supper of streak/chops or chicken along with veggies and of course baked beans along with our signature glass jar desserts. Relax by the camp fire and too soon we will take you back to the ranch to return to civilization.
